Insights Angels is the lead evaluator for the ‘We Are Undefeatable campaign’ and is organising an online learning event in relation to this, on behalf of Sport England. We need to collect some personal data about participants in order to administer the event.
Like all other organisations who collect and use personal data we are subject to the requirements set out in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We take our responsibility to look after personal data very seriously and we ensure that respecting privacy is at the heart of all we do.

Why we need to collect your personal data
We need to collect your personal data in order to:
• Send you invitations to the ‘Learning from Local Places’ learning event online sessions
• Provide you with further information about these sessions before and after they take place, including reminders and access to the recorded sessions
We will only use your personal data for the purposes listed above.
Our lawful basis for collecting your personal data under Article 6 of the GDPR is consent. If you decline to provide your consent, we will be unable to provide you with updates about the learning event.
What personal data we will collect and how we will use it
We will collect the following personal data about you:
• Name
• Email address
• Organisation name
We will not make automated decisions on the basis of the data we collect nor; will we carry out profiling on the basis on the data we collect.
Who we will share it with
Your personal data will be made available to relevant Insight Angels and Sport England colleagues and partners working on the learning event for the purposes set out above. It will be held securely, and we will not make it available more widely than is necessary.
We will not transfer your data to any third country outside the EEA.
How long we will keep it
We will keep your data for up to a period of two months after the learning event.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you are entitled to access your personal data by making a subject access request to the DPO at the contact details provided above.
You are also entitled to ask us to rectify any mistakes in your personal data and, in some circumstances, to have it erased.
You have the right to withdraw your consent to us using your personal data at any time by contacting the DPO.
You are also entitled to lodge a complaint about our handling of your personal data with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
